D'arby's friend was over, so we went out to Alameda Beach. It's always exciting going to Alameda, because you have your choice of going over a drawbridge or through the underwater tunnel that leaks (which, incidentally, appears in Matrix: Reloaded). Some people say the bay's water is unfit for swimming. Chad took this one. I think he identifies with it. I think they were trying to protect themselves from the surging half foot waves. And then we went to Tillie's for dinner. If you order the Skillet Breakfast (which is served any time), it comes in a skillet, which delighted Chad the first time I took him there. Chad always suffers from a little buyer's remorse. Even when he has a perfectly good steak, he still thinks he's missed out by not ordering something else. Like my open-faced turkey sandwich.
Yes, I would like more gravy on that!
A vanilla shake, Belgian waffles (because breakfast for dinner is always fun), and several stolen bites of her friend's stirfry were not enough. D'arby also decimated my mashed potatoes.
