We left D'arby to rest and Aynne to work at the house, then went to the zoo, where I told Chad to turn off the flash because all the windows were covered with greasy fingerprints left by the grubby, obnoxious children who could not help but bang on the windows to frighten the monkeys and their obnoxious parents, who would sometimes do the same and sometimes glance at the signs saying not to bang on the windows as it frightens the monkeys and say, "use your quiet voices" in very quiet voices that the children apparently did not hear, or didn't care to heed, over the banging and the chattering of the frightened monkeys.
