Portland is home to the coolest arcade ever, right around the corner from my sister's place and across the street from a Stumptown. You pay a couple bucks admission (and if you pay $3, you get a four-day pass) then trade in your cash for nickels and go crazy. They also have second-run movies for a buck or something. We also went to a bike night at the Lakehurst, valet parking and a buck to get in if you rode over, $4 for a medium popcorn and a pint of tap brew, big cushy seats with tables and an evening show of Pee Wee's Big Adventure. The only things that sucked about it was that it was 21+ so D'arby couldn't come, and that I was so tired I kept dozing off. Right around the corner is a very cool little gelato bar, I'd had hazelnut chocolate the night before after the girls rock camp showcase.
